We are super proud to be part of the online ECO Solidarity exhibition organized by WantedDesign!
The exhibition showcases products and projects from European design studios that are addressing the issue of sustainability and are truly committed to using design as a tool for social and environmental change.
Produced and presented in partnership with the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and eight of its organization members: Austrian Cultural Forum New York, Delegation of the Government of Flanders to the USA, Wallonie-Bruxelles International New York, Czech Center New York, Goethe-Institut New York, Arts Council Malta in New York, and Romanian Cultural Institute New York.
“Sustainability is not a trend any longer. In the meantime, it became an important part of our everyday life and a huge part of the responsibility we have towards our planet, nature, and the society we live in. Most of the traditional crafts are based on natural materials that craftsmen use for their creations and products, which were essential for survival one day and have been forgotten over the years. Saving this tradition is not only important for our culture, but also for our environment.”
– Anastasiya Akoshcheeva
The ECO Solidarity exhibition will run until August 15 and you can visit it on the WantedDesign website. So feel free to check it out, there are super exciting design studios from Europe to discover!
